People come and people go
What they were missing
Would they ever know?
I wait and wait, for that special someone
My knight is shining, splendour armour
Seasons come and seasons go
Still I wait for the one
Where is he
The one who’s meant for me?
Perhaps he has lost his way
In his journey to find me
Perhaps he has met some other girl
And mistaken her for me?
Will he ever find his way
To my heart and beyond someday?
Be still my heart
Just for a while
And listen for whispers
From my sweetheart.
